Can I use a Web PDF instead of an EPUB?

Web PDF and EPUB are formats acceptable for digital distribution. Though, you may still be able to proceed with the digital distribution if you have just the Web PDF file and your digital Cover Art. However, having the EPUB file has its advantages.  Let me explain a bit what why EPUB is important.

The EPUB format is an open standard. That means it is free and publicly available though there are specific rules for its usage. Considered by many experts as the most common of all the formats, .epub is widely supported across all platforms. Thus, most e-Reader devices and Apps like Apple’s iBooks, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, Adobe Digital Editions, Aldiko on Android among others (in total there are nearly 300) support .epub files.

Though we do not require you to upload the EPUB file, we do recommend you have it so as to widen your market range especially if you have the Web PDF, Mobi and EPUB available.  This will broaden your market of book readers being able to purchase your digital books because it is easy downloadable in different formats.  The wider the market, the bigger the earnings.
